Fishing Contest

Overview

Update 1/20/23: Due to unsafe ice conditions, we will not have the ice fishing contest part of the day, but there will still be plenty of fun for the whole family. 

Date: Saturday, February 4 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Location: Firemen's Park (3210 Chaska Blvd)
Details: Coming up in February 2023, the Chaska Fire Department Relief Association will host its annual ice fishing contest at Firemen’s Park. While we won't be out on the ice this year, there will still be plenty of fun things to do! We'll have:

  • Bonfires and s'mores
  • Door prizes
  • Bucket raffles
  • Food and drink in the Chaska Event Center
  • And the big cash raffle at 3:00 p.m. 

Raffle

The Chaska Fire Department holds a raffle as part of their annual Ice Fishing Contest. You don’t have to catch a fish to have a chance to win some money! 

The raffle is for cash prizes:

  • One $5,000 winner
  • One $2,500 winner
  • Two $1,000 winners
  • Four $500 winners
  • Ten $100 winners

Raffle Tickets are only $20, and only 1,500 tickets will be sold. You can buy tickets from any active or retired firefighter. Don't know a firefighter? Stop by the Chaska Fire Station!

You don’t have to be present to win. All proceeds go the Chaska Fire Department, which is almost entirely a volunteer organization.
