The Brueskes Holiday Concert

December 17, 2022 | 4:00-5:00 PM

Chaska Community Center

The Brueskes, a brother and sister duo, bring a nostalgic Christmas show with classic songs and carols. The concert will combine light harmonies, lush piano tunes, and upright bass solos to tell stories of Christmas past. Craft vendors will be present for your last-minute holiday shopping.

  • Adult Admission - $15 per person
  • Senior/Student Admission - $10 per person

 Tickets sold online by the Arts Consortium of Carver County. 

Holiday Movie Night

December 18, 2022 | 4:00-5:00 PM

Chaska Event Center

Visit the enchanted event center for a movie night with the whole family. Happy Feet Two will play! Popcorn and water provided. Bring your own chairs and blankets.

Winter Park Passport

January 2-March 17, 2023

Multiple Locations

Save time and money with this stay-cation activity! Travel to Chaska and Carver parks for do-it-on-your-own activities from ice skating to snowman building. Complete three or more activities to earn a prize pack filled with games, crafts, and snacks! 

How it works:

  1. Print or download your passport. 
  2. Visit a park and do the activity.
  3. Smile! Take a picture doing the activity.
  4. Mark the activity as complete on your printed or downloaded passport. 
  5. Take a picture doing the activities or with your completed passport, then share it on Facebook on Instagram. Be sure to tag @chaskaparksandrec and use #chaskaparkpassport to let us know you participated! 

Not on social media? Email a copy of your completed park passport to Alyssa Trumbower or drop a completed copy off at the Chaska Community Center front desk.

Teen Wellness Retreat

Chaska Event Center

Explore the world of wellness! Learn to calm the mind, energize the body, and visualize successes in the New Year! There will be a plethora of activities to choose from including journaling, meditation, and fitness samplers. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. 

Cost: $30/participant. Grades 9-12.

Martin Luther King Day Human Rights Celebration

January 16, 2023 | 8:00-9:30 AM

Chaska Event Center 

Celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. with a light breakfast at the beautiful Event Center. Hosted by the Chaska Human Rights Commission. More information can be found on the Human Rights Commission webpage.

Youth Pond Hockey Showcase & Community Skate 

January 28, 2023 | 9:00 AM-4:00 PM 

Firemen's Park 

Pond hockey, ice skating, food, and drinks at Firemen's Park and the Clayhole! This event is supported by the Chaska Rotary and will be a fundraising event for the new Miracle Field. There will be bonfires, hot cocoa, and outdoor activities. Bring used skates for our ice skate drive!

Firemen's Park

Chaska Parks and Recreation and the Chaska Downtown Business Alliance will team up again for some winter fun at Firemen's Park. View a variety of life-size ice sculptures and a chance to watch one being created! Afterwards, the Ice Gardens will be available for viewing until they melt away. Bonfires and s'mores will be available.

Spring Carnival

March 17, 2023 | 5:30-7:30 PM

Chaska Community Center

Test your luck with St. Paddy's Day themed games and prize drawings. This is a free, annual carnival at the Chaska Community Center for members and non-members. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.

Earth Day Celebration

April 22, 2023 | 11 AM-2 PM

McKnight Park

A variety of outdoor and environmental exhibitors will help us appreciate our wonderful natural world. This FREE event will also include an interactive nature hike, food, and activities for the whole family.
