Youth Basketball
A fun introduction to basketball. Kids will learn dribbling, shooting, passing, as well as defense. Participants will be placed on teams to play fun scrimmages.
Next Session begins March 11th!
Gymnastics
Learn the basic skills of gymnastics in a fun-filled, kid-friendly environment! Our coaching staff will keep your little gymnasts engage while learning the foundation of gymnastics on the uneven bars, vault, balance beam, and floor. Questions about the program can be directed to Gymnastics Coordinator, Allison Trauger.
Rookie Sports (DATES VARY BY SPORT)
Join us! Classes will focus on participation, sportsmanship, coordination, skill development and movement. Each week we will work on new skills. Wear tennis shoes, bring a water bottle and be ready for some fun.
Youth Futsal
Are the kids itching to play soccer even when it?s too cold outside? Sign them up for futsal (indoor soccer)! Futsal is a fun, fast-paced soccer game, played indoors, within the lines of a basketball court (no walls), using a small, size 3 ball. Weekly format will consist of practice time followed by a fun game against another team. Teams separated by age. Team t-shirt provided. Volunteer coaches needed. Registration deadline: January 13
Youth Dodgeball League
Dodgeball is an excellent game for developing hand/eye coordination all while being a tremendous cardio workout. Each week, different teams are formed and a different style of dodgeball is played.
Cheerleading Clinic and Game Experience
Learn cheers, chants, jumps, kicks, motions and stunts. Participants will also cheer with the CHS Cheer team for the first half of the CHS Boys Basketball game on February 24 (game time - 7:00pm). Clinic is led by the CHS cheer coaches and cheer team. Don't miss this amazing experience to be on the court with the team! T-shirt included. Proceeds benefit the Chaska High School Cheerleading team.

Flag Football
Whether you're a pro football player or learning the game for the first time, Chaska Chanhassen Football Association (CCFA) will get you in the game! We'll work on fundamentals and drill work before playing a game each day. Volunteer coaches are needed! This is a partnership between CCFA, Chaska Parks and Recreation and ECCS Community Ed. Registration deadline: March 20.

Parents Night Out
Take the night off! Your children will have a blast playing gym games, eating dinner, themed crafts, and a big screen movie! Ages 3-9 are welcome to participate.

Learn to Cook!
Join us as we delve into the delicious kid-friendly recipes that the chefs will want to make again! Through cooking, kids can learn nutrition, organization, and many other important skills. Each day we will create a new recipe, learn about a new kitchen utensil, and put into practice a kitchen safety tip. And of course, we will get to sample our new creations and if there is extra, we can bring some home to share.
Clay Play
During this three date class, we will introduce basic throwing and hand building techniques to create unique pottery pieces. Instructor: Kathleen Theship-Rosales
Building Club
Do you like to build and create? Do you want to meet others who do too? Participate in our Building Club to create, have fun and make new friends. Club meets once a month. Sign up for one or all!

Extreme Kids
Extreme Kids Registration is FULL
Are you looking for an exciting adventure for your kids this summer?
Extreme Kids focuses on summer school-age childcare and enrichment opportunities designed to meet the changing needs of children and families. Our program is fee-based for children entering grades 1-6th fall of 2023 and administrated by the City of Chaska Parks and Recreation Department.
Our staff will provide a fun experience for your child as we explore crafts, small group games, science experiments, nature walks and much more! Weekly activities include field trips, swimming and ice skating.
Breakfast, Lunch & Afternoon Snack:
Included with your tuition is cold cereal, milk and juice and an afternoon snack. All lunches will need to be brought from home. Extreme Kids has an option for Pizza Lunch for $5.00. This option is only available on Wednesday's as long as we are on site and not on a field trip. A link to sign up will be provided
Registration opened Wednesday, March 1st. A $50 non-refundable registration fee per child is due at time of registration. Must register on a non-mobile device.

The Daily Flex Schedule is a calendar-based option that opens at 10am on Mar. 1st. At time of registration, you will select the days your child will attend over the course of the summer. Once your child’s days are selected you will be contracted into those days. If you want to add days during the summer, please contact myself to add those days if space is available.

Outdoor Recreation
Join the Chaska Parks and Recreation Department and Carver County Parks to have some outdoor FUN! There's nothing better than getting outside and enjoying the nature around you!
Youth Archery: Beginner Lesson - Experience all the fun of summer camp archery in the fall! Students will be introduced to the basics of archery by trained Carver County Parks Department instructors. Through fun games and experiential learning, participants will learn range safety and proper techniques for stance, aim, and release to become consistent archers. All equipment provided. This program is offered in partnership with Carver County Parks.
