Summer Splash Tour
We will be venturing to four metro water parks. Water slides, drop slides, zero depth entry pools, diving boards and lazy rivers will be a part of this summer splash tour. Sign up for one or all four.

Adventure Treks for Teens
From archery to kayaking these adventures are designed for youth ages 11 to 15 as an introduction to some traditional and trendy outdoor recreation adventures.

School Year Activities
Outdoor Cooking at Carver
September 28th | 5:00-6:00pm
Carver Riverside Park
Cost: $10 per person, ages 12-15
Join the ranks of outdoor chefs during this deliciously fun class! Participants will learn to cook outdoors with methods ranging from a campfire to solar power while trying out new recipes each day. This program will be held outdoors in partnership with Carver County Recreation.
Learn To Kayak
October 2nd | 1:00-2:30pm
Firemen's Park Chaska
Cost: $20 per person, ages 12-15
Interested in water sports, but been too nervous to try them? Always thought kayaking looked fun? Learn the basics of kayaking in a welcoming, calm environment with experienced instructors from Carver County Recreation.
Teen Glow Zumba
October 19 | 3:30-5:20pm
Chaska Community Center
3:30-4:30pm - Body Painting and Snack (located in Fitness Studio)
4:30-5:20pm Zumba Glow in the Dark Dance Party! (located in Wellness Studio)
Get your glow on! Decorate yourself with glow paint for this beginner Zumba class. Snacks and waters provided. Free to CCC members. Ages: 11-14. Free to CCC members. Non-members can pay $9 per resident or $11 per non-resident.
Lifeguard Classes
Become a lifesaver! Take the lifeguard class to learn essential water safety and first aid skills that will last a lifetime.
This course trains participants in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. Participants must be 15 years old by the end of the class. Once the class is completed, individuals will receive their certification and can begin working as a lifeguard!
