Active Aging Week in October

Join our Quaran-TEAM! It has been a year of changes, but we will celebrate – YOU!! Our annual Active Aging Week for The Lodge is coming in October! MN Highway Safety & Research Center Driver Discount Program (55+)

This 4 Hour Refresher Class is taught by MN Highway Safety & Research Center. The class will explore the latest in vehicle technology, changes in laws and review defensive driving principles. Minnesota state law allows a 10% reduction on auto insurance premiums each year for three years to individuals completing the course. To register on-line 4 Hour Driver's Classes or call 952.448.2023. Due to the MN state mandate, masks will be required. All other program specific information and health guidelines will be shared with registered participants prior to class start dates. The 4 Hour Refresher Class is for those who have already taken a 8 Hour Full Driver's Safety Course in the past 3 years. Class size limited to 15 students each. Minimum sizes must be met in order to run the class.

Stay Tuned! What's Next?

We had some fun outdoor experiences in the past couple of weeks and it was great to be together again! As September approaches the end, we are hearing your concerns about the change of season and the turning of colder weather. We are pursuing other AOA programs and social opportunities to be hosted safely in The Lodge yet this Fall. Offerings will include small group activities that will maintain social distancing and require registration and wearing a mask. The Lodge will remain closed outside of these scheduled programs. More information will be communicated in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
