Chaska Curling Center

Staffing

The Chaska Curling Center is in need of part-time office/guest service staff.  Some daytime hours but mainly evenings and weekends.  Significant numbers of shifts go unfilled each week.  Operational hours have already been impacted.  We want to continue to provide exceptional service for our members and guests.  Consider dropping off an application.

Big Spiel Volunteers

There will be opportunities to assist during this year's Big Spiel, Jan 13-15.  Hospitality, check-in, updating CurlingZone scoring, etc.  Email the Curling Center if you have interest.  Thank you!

Bonspiels Open for Registration

The Mixed and Brick City Open Bonspiels are open for registration.
The Mixed will run Feb 11-13 and the Brick City Mar 11-13.  Both are currently set for 24 teams.
View our bonspiel page for more information.

February Curling Opportunities

We are offering several "Crash Course to Olympic Curling" events during the month of February.  These are quick in-and-out lessons that give you a taste of the game; you'll get to learn the basics, throw some rocks, learn to sweep, and play an end of curling.  The cost includes a beverage at the Crooked Pint.

In addition, we will have a dinner and curling event.  You will spend 90 minutes on the ice learning the game and having fun followed by food and drink in the Crooked Pint.

For more information or to sign up, visit our Try Curling! page.  Traditional Learn to Curl classes will resume in March and beyond.

Group Events

Private group events have been booking steady.  These are perfect team-building events for work groups and also popular with family and friends.  Most weekends are booking out into March and April at this time.  Daytime availability exists in January and February.  View our Group Events page for more information.
