Winter Leagues

Welcome to our winter curling teams! Thank you for your help with teammate rostering. Based on member feedback, we have moved to one winter season running Oct-Mar. We'll look to hear from you again on the new registration and scheduling process. Schedules were sent last week to all rostered curlers and were posted online. Have a great season! Reach out to the Curling Center with any questions.

Learn to Curl and Dinner and Curling Events

Two dinner and curling events are scheduled for Oct 8 and Nov 12. These include a learn to curl class for four people and dinner and drinks at the Crooked Pint. $300/group of 4.

A learn to curl class has also been added for Oct 16, 10am. Learn to curl classes are a great intro to the sport of curling. Participants can then look to explore membership or league opportunities. 2 hours, curling equipment provided. $30/person.

Junior Curling

Some openings remain in our 9-10:15 Saturday morning junior curling classes. This is great for all skill levels and new curlers.

Lockers

The renewal for the new locker season is open. Those that have a current locker will be able to renew. The ladies locker room has rental opportunities, the men's locker room is on a waitlist. The renewal will run Oct 1-Sept 30.

Big Spiel Rep

The Twin Cities Curling Association is looking for each member club to recruit a Big Spiel rep to assist with the planning and execution of the event. Contact the Curling Center if you are interested. Thank you!

Staffing

The Curling Center is looking for part-time instructors or guest service staff. Numerous shifts each week go unfilled. If you are interested in providing excellent customer service to our members and guests, please consider applying. Instructors look to show new curlers the basics and provide them with a fun and safe learning opportunity. Flexible- you work when you are able to, we would like to expand our pool of staff. You don't have to be an expert curler, you just need to know the basics and enjoy working with people.
