   Southern Minnesota Animal Rescue Team (SMART) is a foster-based, 501(c)(3) public charity that not only rescues, but rehabilitates animals. We've got our second fundraiser scheduled at Chaska Community Center May 2. Please view: http://www.americantowns.com/mn/chaska/events/smarts-2nd-annual-spring-fling-handmade-market-2015-05-02 Our team really appreciates the support the Community Center staff and local people have given us and we will continue holding annual fundraising events in Chaska. SMART hosts family-friendly events to raise money for animals in need, but in turn, also gives back to others including other rescues/shelters, Rescuing Teddy and sharing my therapy dog, Bear (my profile photo). Looking for ways to increase awareness for the need of animal rescue. In turn, we will support local groups with increasing awareness for their missions.
