Ice Arena advertising for the Chaska Community Center
The Ice Arena at the Chaska Community Center is one of the only rinks that doesn’t currently have dasherboard ads. This provides an opportunity to generate new revenue while displaying state-wide and local business advertising.
The Council approved working with Rinkside Advertising Network. They have coordinated dasherboard ad placements across 47 metro-area and 26 out of state ice arenas.
Approved Preliminary Site & Building plan for the Performance Center at Hazeltine National Golf Course
The plan adds a 8,785 sq. ft. performance center. This space would provide members multiple indoor-outdoor simulators/hitting bays, an indoor putting and chipping area as well as a small dining and lounge component.

Recognized the Chaska Lions Monument
The Chaska Lions Monument was originally created in 1962 for City Square Park. The monument provided information about the three burial mounds located there. The monument was removed about 30 years ago and put into storage.
The Chaska Lions Club decided to repair, refurbish, and relocate the original monument to Lions Park.
